An update on the upcoming Christmas Activities:

They are busy preparing for the annual Christmas Draw. Tickets will be distributed in the next week. We wish to thank all the sponsors for their generous prizes.

The Board conducted an annual review of the Anti-Bullying Policy and its Implementation as well as reviewing the Child Safeguarding Statement. Both updated policies and the Annual Admissions Notice can be viewed on this website under Policies. Enrolments for the 2025-2026 school year will begin from January. Admission Application forms can be collected from the office. The Child Safeguarding Statement, Anti-bullying Policy, and Health and Safety Policy are reviewed annually. The Designated Liaison Person for Child Protection (DLP) is Mrs Teresa Galligan, and the Deputy Designated Liaison Person (DDLP) is Mrs Siobhan Clarke.

The closing date for Team Hope’s Shoebox Appeal is 8th of November. This annual campaign brings Christmas gifts to children living in poverty. For many, these gifts are the only ones they receive, bringing immense joy.
Learn more about the appeal here. The students were enthusiastic about the Student Council this year. Written applications were submitted by those wishing to join the committee. The successful candidates are:
Aine Donnelly, Katie Smith, Mia Brady, Josh Reilly, Liam Fagan, Neasa Hewitt, Azura Manning & Alfie McCabe. The Council will meet once each term with two staff members to discuss ideas and activities on behalf of the pupils. One of their first ideas—to move the 3rd and 4th classes closer to the others when lining up—was implemented last week. They also helped decorate the school for Halloween and are actively serving as Green Schools Ambassadors, encouraging responsible waste disposal.
