- Read and listen to the poem.
- Write a couple of paragraphs about the events on Monday and Tuesday. What do you think may have happened during break-time. How did the child feel when the others threw mud at him/her. Use some dialogue and fictional characters. Remember to use speech marks and accurate grammar.

- Read block words and use dictionary to find meaning of unknown words.
- Complete exercises 1 & 2

- Recite the poem again.
- Now write a couple of paragraphs about the events on Wednesday and Thursday. Again, discuss the feelings, actions and reactions of all involved. Discuss how the teacher may have approached things better.
