Active Schools Week 2024 took place on the final week of the school term.
Our committee worked hard drawing up ideas and posters to let students know what was ahead.
We had a busy week and the weather was on our side thankfully.
Thank you to Diane for the yoga session and to our past pupils Cillian,Evan and Alex who played rugby on Wednesday with the pupils. Colm kindly showed us some tennis drills and quick fire games.
We danced and requested our favourite tunes to dance to and we had an obstacle course that challenged us and kept us on our toes.
Sports day was a great laugh and we even threw wellies for fun.
The league finals were played and we watched with baited breath as the games were so close. Congratulations to all who took part. Promising players won awards for their outstanding skill, potential and leadership on the field. Well done to the worthy winners.
Our final day, the day of the holidays we enjoyed a walk around the block.
Thank you to the outgoing committee who worked so hard this year.
