Congrats to Jessica ,who was placed 7th in the Junior girls 600m, and to Charlie, who was placed 9th in the intermediate boys 800m. They both received medals for their efforts. Overall, the Junior girls team picked up gold while the intermediate boys and girls picked up silver.
A great day was had by all. Well done everyone. Up the Lough!!!
The 6th class boys took part in the FAI 5 a side soccer competition which was held in Baileborough Celtic AFC today 18th April 2024. Although we were not the out right winners today the boys won the first two games, drew their third and lost the last game to a strong Knocktemple team by only one goal. Well done boys - we are so proud of the fine athletes that you are.

Cross-country 2023
We had a fantastic day at the Cross-Country running in Killinkere on Wednesday, 11th of October. The 35 children who represented the school did their very best against 200 other pupils in their races. We had 2 individual winners- Aoibhinn Farrelly came 2nd and Katie Hannon came 5th in the Junior girls 600 m race. We came 2nd overall which was a fantastic achievement considering we were up against 46 schools altogether.
Cumann na mBunscol 2023
Our camogie team were unlucky to be beaten in Cumann na mBunscol final in Breffni Park on Thursday 26th October by their club team mates from Kilnaleck NS. They put up a great fight and played their hearts out. They should be very proud of themselves having won 4 games out of 4 to get to the final. On another day the result could be different! A huge thanks to Mrs Clarke and Geraldine for training the team and preparing them for the final. Thanks to the parents who kindly drove the girls to the matches.
2023 Our new committee 2023
Good luck to our new eager committee coming up with ideas to help our school stay fit and healthy
