Cross-Country Running in Killinkere, 12/10/2022
Today, 30 pupils represented our school in the cross-country running in Killinkere. There were approximately 180 to 200 pupils running in each category. We are very proud of all the boys and girls who each took home a gold medal in their categories. Some children won individual medals for their effort in finishing in the top 12 runners in each category. In the Junior boys, Charlie Reilly ran 600 metres and came 6th. Aoibhinn Farrelly was placed 5th in her race. Cillian Reilly and Lorcan Farrelly both ran 1km and were exceptional today. Cillian came 10th in the senior boys while Lorcan came 1st. The final prize presented to the school today was the Rice Perpetual Cup for the overall school in the county cross-country running. The pupils were thrilled to take this cup home to Crosserlough for the first time ever. Well done everyone today. You did yourselves, your families and your school proud today.
