June 17th, 2016

6/17/2016

On Thursday the 9th of June, Junior,Senior, 1st and 2nd class went to visit Killinkere Farm in Virginia.

When we arrived at the farm, we had a walk around to meet all the animals. We got to pet dogs, donkeys rabbits and guinea pigs. We fed the goat and the deer-carrots and grass!
We all had a pony/horse ride. We had a nature walk to the duck pond and over the troll bridge, trip trapping all the way :) On the way we stopped to have a go on the tyre swing.
We went to the fairy ring and had our own 'Cavan's got talent'. Some boys and girls sang, danced and told jokes. Everyone got through to the Finals next year :) It was great fun!
We had our lunch and had play time  in the playground and in the sandpit area. After this we had a tractor and trailer ride. We had great fun on our tour this year.
