Learning at Home

4/18/2020

Dear Parents,
We hope that you are all keeping well and are following all the guidelines from our Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar and the HSE with regards to social distancing (keeping away from others as much as possible, 2 metres if possible), hand washing (properly and often), hygiene (cough and sneeze into your elbows) and staying at home. We hope you were able to enjoy the glorious sunshine we had for the Easter Holidays.

All pupils received work from their teachers on the last day we were at school. This work was set up and organised for a three week period. We understand that it can be difficult to create a routine at home during these few weeks. Therefore, we have set up these pages on our website to help parents and children with their learning at home.

Over the next few weeks we will continue to share appropriate websites, learning tools and resources on these pages to help pupils with their learning if they have completed their work assigned by their teachers. Click on relevant links that will bring you to the websites.

Some teachers will assign their work and put up suggested activities on the class blog. Please keep an eye on your child's class blog for regular updates. Click on the link above to go to your child's class blog.

Please do not feel over whelmed or pressurised to complete all the activities assigned by the teachers. Every family's situation is different. We understand if health and mental well being is prioritised. Teachers have included suggested timetables that might help to keep some kind of a routine. Again, use it if you think it might help!

Please do  not hesitate to contact the teachers using the emails they have provided. Please keep safe and continue to follow all the guidelines issued by the HSE and the Government.

The Principal and Staff of Crosserlough NS.
