Learrning important messages from the firemen

Candles blow them out if you are leaving the room.
​Candles and curtains can be lethal.

Charge your phone/tablets screen side down.
Buy chargers with the CE mark for safety standards.

Don't overload the sockets.
​Turn off the kettle,washing machine,etc when not in use.

​Chip pans-use a fireblanket  [not water] to choke the fire.

Test your smoke alarm every week.
This is really important.
Have two alarms at least per house.
​If your smoke alarm is cheeping....you need to replace the batteries.
​Set up a fire drill and practise it.Keep toys off the stairs.
Have a plan.
Stay out and get the fire brigade out.
