Return to Remote Teaching and Learning 2021

1/7/2021

                                                                                                                            7th January, 2021
D
ear Parents,

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you are all well. As expected, the minister has confirmed the closure of school buildings until the 1st of February at the earliest.

In preparation for the start of remote learning next week, we are arranging for the collection of books and resources on Saturday, January 9th. As community transmission is at its highest since the pandemic began we need to do this in a "very controlled manner". Books can be collected at the following times.

         5th & 6th class:    10 am to 11 am
         Infants:                  11.30 am to 12.30 pm
         3rd & 4th:              1.00 pm to 2 pm
         1st & 2nd:              2.30 pm to 3.30 pm

If you have more than 1 child you may collect all books at the same time.

Please adhere to the following guidelines upon arrival:

       * Wear a face mask
       * Sanitise on arrival
       * Please come alone unless you have 3 sets of books to collect
      *  Maintain a social distance from any adults you encounter.

Remote teaching and learning will begin on Monday. Teachers will upload the work for the week and engage with pupils daily using Classdojo.

Please don't hesitate to contact us should you need further support.
Please take care and stay safe,
Kind Regards,
Teresa Galligan & Staff
