Maths Week of 25th May

Junior Infants:
Monday:
This week we are looking at the numeral 0.This can be shown by making two groups(sets) using clothes pegs,spoons etc..E.G:one set with 3 items and the other with 0.This set is empty and has nothing in it.Here is a set of 5 buttons.I'm taking away 1,2,3,4,5.How many are left?
Refer to empty and zero throughout the week.There are no biscuits left.There are no spoons left in the drawer etc..

Find number 3,What numbers are next to number 3?
Go to 2...and take 1 jump..What number do you land on etc...?
Extra Optional Activities: Make sets to match each number on the number line using lego blocks etc,Cover a number.What number is covered?Cut up a number line and mix up the numbers and put in the correct order.
