In class today we carried out a simple experiment. We made lemon suds.
For the experiment you will need: a lemon baking soda a cup a teaspoon 1. Put a teaspoon of baking soda into a cup. 2 Squirt some lemon juice into the cup. Result The mixture makes fizzy bubbles and lemon suds. A gas called carbon dioxide is trapped in the bubbles. lemon is an acid and baking soda is a base. when the two are mixed together they form a gas called carbon dioxide.
