In class today we carried out a simple experiment. We made lemon suds.
For the experiment you will need:
1. Put a teaspoon of baking soda into a cup.
2 Squirt some lemon juice into the cup.
The mixture makes fizzy bubbles and lemon suds.
A gas called carbon dioxide is trapped in the bubbles.
lemon is an acid and baking soda is a base. when the two are mixed together they form a gas called carbon dioxide.
