Work for week beginning 15th of June

Dear 2nd & 3rd Class,
I hope  you are all keeping well. It is beginning to feel like summer now and I'm sure when you are out walking or cycling the roads around Crosserlough you will  have noticed the hedgerows are abundant with beautiful wild flowers and the farmers are busy cutting silage and hay.
If you were at school this week you would have been going on your school tour. You would have been looking forward to the  semi finals and finals of the football and basketball leagues. Weather permitting our Sport's Day would have taken place this week too.
I know you miss your friends, and all of the above but I think you have been wonderful pupils over the past 3 months and although homeschooling was a new challenge for  everyone you have all engaged positively and have shared some fantastic projects. 
For this week I want you to complete a maths test online, finish Mental Maths, complete some pages in Bua na Cainte and go on a virtual school tour everyday!
I look forward to teaching you all again in September when you  move into 3rd & 4th class.
