Talk and discuss the South Pole. Look at a map of the world and find out where
Antarctica is.

P.100  Sources of Heat
Recipe: Chocolate rice crispy buns
1. Write out the procedure into your sese copy after you make the buns with an adult.
2. Make a powerpoint about where the heat in your home comes from. Take a photo of the sources of heat- ie toaster, oven, stove, fire place, kettle, radiator, candle, iron, light, etc...
3. Write about 4 natural forms of heat in the world.
1.The Sun  2. Volcano  3. Hot springs  4. heat made by friction   5. underground heating systems

P102 Temperature
Look at the label on your clothes. At what temperature should they be washed?
What would happen if the clothes were washed in the wrong temperature?
Temperature is the measure of how hot or how cold something is. We use a thermometer to measure temperature. Do you have a thermometer in your home? What does it look like? Does it look like any of the pictures on p 102? 
There are many times when we need to find an accurate temperature. Can you think of examples??? 

Art:
Butterflies- Have you seen any butterflies in your garden? If not, what insects have you seen? Why not draw some of the insects in your garden. Sketch some flowers and insects.

Travel can be requesting, particularly on the off chance that you are not being "drove around by the nose" on a gathering trip. You realize you should be on your toes - to be situationally mindful - to give close consideration. You should walk widely, including all over slopes and stairs.
